How It Works

Instructors contracted by The Music Lessons Project provide supplemental music instruction in small group settings or to individual students.  Examples of services are lessons, sectionals, coaching, and clinics.

School band, orchestra, and choir teachers may recommend to The Music Lessons Project students, groups of students, or classes of students, who they believe would benefit from personalized instruction and the type of instruction that would be most beneficial to the student(s).  Personalized instruction will be taught at the school site during the academic year.  The organization is committed to the ongoing evaluation and refinement of the program.

Accountability

Annual reports/evaluations will be transparent regarding what worked as well as challenges that were encountered.  Students will share experiences with donors by writing reflective comments and/or meeting with them. Primary music teachers, contracted instructors, district administrators and The Music Lessons Project facilitators will also contribute input.
